FLIPPED to Fair — RMA's 6/20 RMNP report lists lower Glacier Creek among the drainages seeing 'great days' on small dry-droppers; this year's snowmelt is running ~2–3 weeks ahead, so the doors opened earlier than usual. Lower and mid reaches are fishing; the upper gorge stays snowmelt-cold a while longer. One of few RMNP creeks where you can land the grand slam (4 species). Plunge pools + pocket water with steep-gradient drops; small dry-droppers, stealthy approach. Bear Lake Road corridor access — RMNP Timed Entry + reservation required 5am–6pm daily thru mid-Oct. Trail Ridge Road open.

STATUS CHANGED from High-Country Closed to Fair: RMA (6/20) reports lower RMNP drainages — including Glacier Creek — fishing well, with alpine lakes at 11,000 ft already producing (~2–3 weeks ahead of a normal melt year). Water stays cold (45-52°F even in August). 6-10" average, occasional 12"+ in deeper plunge pools. Wet wading; Bear Lake Road shuttle in summer. RMNP Timed Entry IN EFFECT — Bear Lake Rd corridor needs Timed Entry+ reservation, 5am–6pm daily thru mid-Oct. Pocket water + plunge pools with brookies and cutthroats — one of few grand-slam waters. Upper gorge still cold — fish the lower/mid reaches for now.
