PMDs and Green Drakes come off during the more humid parts of the day; Golden Stoneflies and Yellow Sallies hatch consistently throughout the day; caddis come off thick in the evening. Golden Stones peaking around bridge riffles. Fish caddis, Yellow Sally and PMD dries early and late; larger Green Drake and Stonefly patterns midday. Best window: EARLY MORNING before the heat. Higher tributary sections yield even better clarity. Today (Wed) is hot and sunny (~92°F Fort Collins, breezy, patchy smoke possible); fish early and verify the gauge before driving up.
