Skinny flows mean small flies and technical presentations. Dry-dropper still crushing it through Lyons on warmer days. Caddis ramping. Per FRA/RMA early June: 'flows finally going up, fish more spread out in pocket water. Tubers and swimmers will likely return to the Vrain in Lyons on nicer days — earlier start time recommended.' Dry: Super Man Caddis, Griffith's Gnat, Purple Haze, Foam Run Caddis, AR's BWO, Film Critic, Sparkle Dun BWO, Chubby Chernobyl. Nymphs: RS-2, Two Bit Hooker, Juggaret FB Possum, Juju Baetis, Tung TNT, Crust Nymph, AR's Perdigon, Kryptonite Caddis. Today (Sun Jul 5) ~90°F Lyons plains, sunny and hot — fish the morning before the heat; scattered storms return Tue–Wed.
